Research
Research is usually carried out within the scope of each faculty of this university. Other research is carried out within the framework of the Department of Scientific and Technological Research (DICYTyV). The DICYTyV is supervised by the Center for Higher Research (CIS). The latter is intended to coordinate and assign the investigations carried out by the DICYTyV. Highly complex investigations are directly carried out by the CIS. DICYTyV annually holds a conference in which researchers report on the work carried out and, in addition, organizes important University extension activities and maintains relations with relevant scientific institutions in America and Europe.
